Bay Street Apartments

This project consists of the construction of a 284 unit apartment complex (approximately 270,000 SF) on top of an existing 3-story concrete structure located in Emeryville. Project features exterior courtyards with landscaping and a swimming pool. The existing concrete structure has two levels of parking with retail shops at the ground level. Construction of the apartments did not disrupt the retail businesses because scaffolding will be held off the ground. The apartments are framed with a proprietary steel tube panelized wall system that supports all gravity and lateral loads while floors are framed with metal joists, plywood and concrete fill.
