550 High Street

This design/build mixed-use building is located in downtown Palo Alto, CA. The project consists of a 4-story above grade cast-in-place concrete and structural steel building totaling 26,870 SF and includes a 3-story basement parking garage totaling 25,800 SF. The fourth floor features a 4,850 SF high-end residential penthouse with a 1,330 SF outdoor patio/terrace area. The basement is constructed using a soldier beam and tieback shoring system with underpinning of adjacent structures. The exterior skin of the building includes insulated glass systems, laminated glass systems, decorative aluminum elements, mechanically anchored large format limestone, smooth plaster, and lighting elements. The project also consists of finished restroom cores, lobbies in the basement parking garage, and a lobby at the ground floor.
